[Edit]
Carpal tunnel syndrome would not cause tingling in little finger. The Ulnar nerve can cause numbness and tingling in the 4th -5th fingers. The nerve when you hit your funny bone. You may have ulnar neuritis.

Tingling in fingers
Depends if it is chronic or sporadic in nature. An aquaintance had a similar problem with two fingers on his right hand. It was diagnosed as a pinched nerve. Perhaps from his avid (rabid) golfing.
- The onset of carpal tunnel syndrome. A constantly pinched ulnar nurve would do this.
- A pinched or damaged ulnar nerve (or damage to the plexus where it originates) can cause that sensation. You can get that sensation when you e.g. hit your elbow as the ulnar nerve is very close to the surface in a groove on the dorso-lateral side of the elbow.
