A bachelors is a four-year degree. It is your basic college degree. You need a bachelors degree to get a graduate degree.

A graduate degree is a "post-graduate" degree, such as a Masters or a PhD. A graduate degree is anything above the previous four-year degree.

They build on each other. You need a bachelors to get a graduate degree.
