What did dolphins evolve from?

[Edit]
Answer:

Dolphins evolved from Therapsids (wooly reptiles) just like we primates did. The Therapsid family was a branch of the "Stem" Reptiles which were the ancestors of all mammals. Probably it discovered that burning your food quickly makes you warm which resulted in hair. Soon, the dinosaurs rose which forced the Therapsids to shrink into the size of rodents. Only until the great extinction of dinosaurs the mammals started to rule the world. It was actually lucky for us, otherwise you would be a miserable midget hiding in the bushes from mean, vicious dinosaurs.
