May somebody drive with an adult present in the vehicle when they are 15 and a half?

[Edit]

Answer

You can but you need to have a learners permit and the adult that is driving with you must be 21+ with a vaild lisence.

In some states you have to be 16 to get a permit.

In Florida where I live you need to be 15 && you have to take a 4 hour long drug && alcohol test. Then must take a Road Rules and Road Signs test.

Answer

In California, once a new driver has a permit (usually obtained at 15 1/2) and has taken at least one behind-the-wheel driving lesson with a licensed Driving School, he or she may drive sitting next to an adult who has a valid California license and is at least 25 years old.
