Have you checked the ignition switch or the fuse panel?
It could be as simple as a blown fuse, though not likely. I would suspect the ignition switch, particularly if you don't hear the starter solenoid engage.

It very well may be the clutch switch if you have a standard shift or the neutral safety switch if it is automatic.
