How much current can be stored in a AAA battery?

[Edit]

Current is measured in Amps. Rechargable AAA batteries put out 850 mAh, or 0.85 Amp-Hours, meaning that it will run 1.2v (Rechargable AAA Voltage) at .85 amps for 1 hour. But to really get a feel for how much power it holds, you need to use watt hours, which are amps times volts. 1.2v X .85 = 1.02 watt hours, or just enough to run a lightbulb for 90 seconds.
