Are rattlesnakes deadly?

Rattlesnakes can be potentialy deadly, like all venomous snakes, if you do not seek medical attention. Snake venom is either hemotoxin or neurotoxin. Hemotoxic venom attacks the blood, while neurotoxic venom attacks the nervous system.
